M. L. STRASSER

Mr. Strasser has been licensed as an attorney since 1981 and is admitted to practice law in  Texas (1987), Louisiana (1981),  the District of Columbia (1987), the Southern District Federal Court of Texas (1985), and the Northern District Federal Court of Texas (1988). 

Mr. Strasser is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Association, and District of Columbia Bar Association.

Professional Ratings

Mr. Strasser has received a high to very high rating for legal ability and the highest professional and ethical rating from Martindale-Hubbell Company .  Martindale-Hubbell rates attorneys based upon attorney and judicial
peer reviews.  

In Consumer Reviews, Mr. Strasser has been highly rated, as of 2008,  on "Ask.Com", Manta, Yelp,  "MSN.Com", and other consumer review rating programs.  There has been no disciplinary action at any bar association since the time of admission for Mr. Strasser.

Education and Experience

Mr. Strasser is a 1980 graduate of Louisiana State University Law School.  Mr. Strasser received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1977 from Louisiana State University.  Mr. Strasser has attended continuing
legal education seminars each year since his admission as an attorney in 1981 to the Louisiana State Bar.

Mr. Strasser has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1988.  Mr. Strasser had served in a corporate legal capacity for about 6 1/2 years prior to entering private practice.  Mr. Strasser had served as a Felony Prosecutor in Texas State Courts prior to entering private practice. 

Trial Experience

Mr. Strasser has presented over 60 jury trials as lead counsel in Texas State Courts. 

The jury trial cases have included criminal matters, including capital murder;  family matters such as divorce, and termination of parental rights; business matters such as breach of contract, and defective construction cases;
banking cases; financial transaction cases; employment cases; and other cases. 

In addition to jury trials, Mr. Strasser has equally extensive experience in presenting cases for trial before a Judge, without a jury.  Mr. Strasser has also presented cases for clients at administrative agencies, before arbitrators, and in mediation. 

Mr. Strasser's goal in private practice has been to provide each client with the best possible resolution to their case in the most cost effective manner available.  Mr. Strasser's broad based experience in the presentation and resolution of cases in a variety of methods provides his clients with significant viable options for a successful outcome in their case.
